Giving Back In 2024

Even with a micro-business, I am committed to supporting organizations that do meaningful work for our furry friends. This value is part of my core principles, and I want to extend it to Love From Lily.

In the fourth quarter of each year, a portion of Love From Lily’s profit is donated to charitable organizations that assist companion animals. I report the charities I support in the first quarter of the following year.

This year, Love From Lily donated to Can Do Canines, an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities by creating partnerships with specially trained dogs. Preparing a dog for service work requires extensive training, and it takes a truly exceptional dog to succeed. For any dog lover, the Netflix documentary Pick Of The Litter is a fascinating must-see!

Can Do Canines, located in New Hope, MN, has a long-standing reputation for providing assistance dogs to people with disabilities at no cost. Their organization is ethical and transparent, earning a Platinum rating on GuideStar.Org. They train service dogs for individuals with a variety of mobility challenges, including hearing loss or deafness, seizure disorders, diabetes complicated by hypoglycemia unawareness, and children with autism. Additionally, they train dogs to work in hospitals and other community service roles.

I wish you all a joyful and productive 2025!
